You are invited to participate in the

5th Annual New York State Public Defenders Career Fair

Friday, November 4, 2022 from 1:00 – 5:00 pm EST

We are excited to welcome you to a robust virtual hiring experience using the Zoom platform.

Registration and details at https://www.law.buffalo.edu/cso/public-defender-career-fair.html

Participation is free.

Registration deadline is Wednesday, October 19, 2022.

How it Works:

We are excited to welcome applicants from all over the country to network and interview for student internships, entry-level and lateral positions. You will welcome these potential candidates in your zoom space for conversation and possible interviews throughout te afternoon.  You will also receive a list of the registered applicants a week before the fair.  The list includes their profile, geographic preference and a link to their resume.  We encourage you to contact any of them directly in advance to set a time to meet at the career fair or to arrange a separate time to talk.

Making the Most of your Zoom Room:

You will be able to share your screen, change your virtual background, use breakout rooms for individual conversations and use the chat function.

Other Career Fair Events:

This virtual event is designed to be interactive and dynamic.  Other activities will be happening throughout the afternoon.

a. A Central Gathering Room

For networking with other attendees, getting tech help, asking questions and seeking advice.

b. Videos from Your Host Organizations with welcome messages and instructions

c. Live panel discussions (will be recorded and available afterward): TBA
